    bringing stuff back from Pakistan

i'm not sure if this belongs here, so mods move if you must

anyhow, i just found out that apparently its now illegal to bring back cds and dvds and such from pakistan...which makes me VERY sad as i planned to buy a ton of music

is this true, and is there any way around this??

Pirated stuff can cause problems. Though more likely you can in trouble if US Customs find pirated software and pirated DVD's of American movies in your luggage. Music videos and cd's of Pakistani/Indian artists are not likely to cause any problems.

And US Customs don't open all bags to search for CDs and DVD's. They usually pass everything through x-rays and only open something if they get suspicious.
