    Business Travelers

How do you spend your time working away from work when you are not working. OK, that was confusing. Usually, when I am traveling for business, it is for anywhere from a couple of days to 5 days.

I hate watching TV in the room. I usually drive out for dinner but eating alone is no fun either.

How would you spend 3 to 4 hours in the evening in a stange city?. Roaming around is fun for a day or two only. Any tips from seasoned travelers?

To my co-mods: It may sound travel section but it really isn't.

1)Usually plan activities with any colleagues who are travelling
    2) Look up old friends in the area and meet up
    3) Look up university/fraternity alumni in the area and meet up with them, good for networking, and better than eating alone.
    4)Dro by the local lodge
    5)catch up on my reading
    6) catch up on movies

      Here are some more:

      1. Catch up on sleep.

      2. Workout.

      3. Order books from Amazon.com.

      4. Call and catch up with friends, family and relatives.

      5. Open your mail and pay your bills online.

Fungo, do you do house-calls too? What’s your rate? And most importantly, are you discrete? And also one more thing, do you use protection while on business?

i always saw the ads for the inflaable mattress where they say "take it on business trips" and wondered what kind of business would that be. I guess I know now.
