Now in my passage through life and the office environment I’ve come across two groups of people distinct (not exclusively due to their brand of pani I hasten to add) in their choice of bottled waters.
We have the ‘still group’, no messing around and don’t drink for the pleasure but to for their daily intake, like automatons they tell you how much they’ve had “five bottles since morning me” and wait until you gasp in amazement and say something like “lovely”.
Then we have the ‘carbonated brigade’ who prefer to be known as the ‘sparkling ones’ these people drink for pleasure and take grate pride in letting out a little burp after each sip telling you that’s “it helps with digestion”.
Me see I’ve never been up on ‘10 glasses before breakfast’ or ever liked the taste of fizzy water not into coffee much or tea for that matter but am being forced into one of the camps lately as we have a choice as to whether we wants a new water cooler in the communal area or a crate of fizzy water everyday.
The choices in a high pressured environment on there own pose no problem, but in combination with other melodramas such as a broken photocopier or a sick PA, mount into an ominous wave of fear.
So flat or fizzy, still or sparkling, as nature intended or man-made carbonated.
