    in our little paki group here, in usa, we call this guy, piharri or paari, something about how hes from the mountains, anyone give me details about this ?

    These are urdu words

    mountain = pihaar
    mountain-men = pihaari

        cat-woma, you are right. It is Pahaar.

        Never mind these two. haroon is Indian and Faisal is a Lahoria.

          Thank goodness, I thought I was about to receive a lecture from Faisal bhai about how its actually 'pihaar'. Surely my parents couldn't have been wrong all this time.

            Its not really 'pihaar'. It is infact 'pahaar". But when someone is starting from "paari", you should take him step-by-step to the manzil-e-maqsood.

                Yeah but you know the word 'baahir' as in 'outside', for the longest time I thought it was 'bahaar' but its actually 'baahir' right?

                  Well, if this mountain-man is anything like a real mountain-man, calling him 'paari' is gonna cost our friend atleast an over-night stay in the nearest hospital.
