Joining the Pakistani Civil Service..info. needed!

I would like to try for the Pakistani CSS exams; before I do so, I would like some information about the various divisions within the CSS and any general information too. Thanks!

Dear Asif, CSS exams. usually take place in Oct. or NOV.
The exam based on a written test and an interview (after clearing examz).

The allocation of departments based on the total score in both.

The diff. Dept. are
1)District mangt. group
2) Foreign serv.
3) ACCOUNTS
4) INCOME TAX
5) POSTAL SERVICES ETC.ETC.

Asif yaar! The delay in reply is because your posting offers not much SPICE otherwise you wud have myriad replies if u cud have asked for help in finding a TROUSSEAU or asked for a BIRYANI recipe...smile......but there u r sir.

its such a waste when i see doctors and engineers trying to pass css. what a waste of resources.
even if u r not one, i would recommend keep this option as one of the last things u can do.

I AM a biomedical engineer actually....lekin CSS = power if you can get into the DMG at a high post.....
