God doesn't like Asia

500 people feared dead in Turkey due to earthquake, railroad accident killed hundreds in India, hundreds killed and thousand ruined in a hurricane in Pakistan, Flood kills thousands in China and Bangladesh, Java sucked by earthquake and hurricane.....
These incidents occur every year in Asia. i can't understand God's mind. okay yeah right, Asia held a great glory in the past, the origin of all basic relegions, the first civilzation lived here, Babylonians and Moehnjodarians were amazing....but what the hell we have to do with these Western discovered adventures of asian glories??? we r looking into present Asia which clearly tells that God doesn't like it. is it a natural method of population control??? if it is then i don't think its gonna work. if it isn't then what is the problem with God. can't He just leave Asia happy?? Imagine God saying all the year along to his angels of fury "Go suck this part of Asia..go ruin Bangladesh...destroy Lanka." God what is going on?? what have the poor farmers of Turkey and India done?? can't we have a glorius(happy) Asia of 21st century...i don't see any signs. how many of u people can see???

It has to do again with poverty. Latur earthquake in India was as strong as ones that keep happening in California. But deaths in India were much more cuz latur people lived in stone-mud houses which collapsed and everyone died. disasters generally hit the poor most. same has happened in Turkey.

and that is the question. why do disasters hit the poor? the natural phenomenon like earthquake and hurricanes depend on the nature of land and climate of that place. but this distribution is equal in every part of the world, then why only Asia and not the rest of the world suffer such calamities??

same disaster hits the poor more. earthqukes hit more since their houses are weak. floods hit more since their governments can not warn them in time and evacuate later. fires hit more since fire brigade turns up 15 hours after it starts. epidemics hit more since health care is primitive. list goes on.

well.. but then iraq inflicted wars on iran and quwait, killing and imposing many hardships on people of those countries and also its own citizen. same thing goes with india and pakistan. on the other hand, countries like malasia and indonesia resolved their differences through dialogue and prospered together. now economic crisis hindered a process a bit. but they are coming out of crisis and are progressing.

it is all our fault. in 17th century, indian subcontinent had 25% of GDP of world. We missed industrial revolution, kept squabbling among ourselves and are now one of the most impoverished nations. god, if exists, is quite fair.

Mybe people won't agree with my response, but i think its b/c of whats happening to the muslims in asia. Turkey used to be a totally muslim country and now they are against everything islamic, same thing in Pakistan there are casinos opening and i have seen so many bad things happeneing there,

Turkey is the most progressive of the Muslim countries. I do not know Islam. But average Turk is more civilized than average Arab for example in attitude to women.

God need not take up the endevour of destroying Muslim countries. Muslims are doing that job pretty well. An example is Afghanistan where the proxy armies of Pakistan, Iran, Tajikistan are killing each other and have destroyed the whole country.

I agree with ya 714! Its true, Pakistan is an ISLAMIC NATION then why are we getting off Islam? We have girls who model, which is NOT in ISLAM! And I head last year that in Kuwait they have a big Beer facctory!!! I don't think beer is allowed in Islam, don't ya think????
