Two different perspectives on the world. Pakistani media wether it be PTV, STN, Dawn, Jang, Pakistan Times all reflect the view of teh people of pakistan. They contain material which relates to the culture of pakistan and contain topics of interest to the pakistani community.

Whereas media such as CNN are geared toward a western audience and also take a global stance in reporting news.

Each form of media in each country differs in the fact that they report local news as well that is not relevant to other countries in the world.

The same can be said for any medium. Its not what is written but who it is written for that will give you a greater understanding of the differences.

Are you asking about the general design/ user friendliness of the site or the quality of the content?

A lot of Pakistani news websites are in Urdu ... which isn't good if you can't read Urdu whereas other news websites like BBC World News is fantastic ... in the international language of English. It also gives you the option of reading it in Urdu which I don't find in Urdu websites (giving you the option to read in English .... unless of course it's written in Urdu and i'm just missing it).

Kinda clumsily designed ... and kinda unattractive. Tend to be simple and most seem like following the same design pattern. Also lesser number of features.
