I am not quite up to date on marvel. used to read the comics as a kid. Things have def gotten more interesting since then since the absolute black and white of good vs bad has been replaced by shades of grey.

always liked spidey, x-men and the avengers, there were some other groups as well that I liked.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And like that... he is gone.

I used to collect comics as a kid, however the only ones I keep nowdays are the marvel music series. Those being the original Kiss comics from the 70's as well as the Black Sabbath comics from the late 80's and the Alice Cooper, last temptation comics from 1994. There are others, but they aren't marvel.

hobgoblin would be a good continuation of the first movie, but lizard or doc octo etc could be really good, and then we had sandman and others as well.

Lizrad not being all evil could be a interesting character if in the story as a secondary character along with doc octo.

Marvel did comics about Kiss and Black Sabbath? How can you have comics about rock bands?

The Kiss comics were released in the 70's. They are rare collectors items, since each of the 4 members took a serynge of their own blood and dumped it in the ink vat at the comic printing factory. So the originals all have a part of "Kiss" in each comic. The story lines have them as super heroes fighting evil. In 1997, Image comics in conjunction with Todd McFarlane released a new series of Kiss comics called "Psycho Circus", just before their "Psycho Circus" album which was released in 1998. They lasted about 3 years. Psycho Circus saw kiss as "Elder" beings keeping balance in the universe with their own special powers. Last year, another series of Kiss comics were released by Dark Horse Comics, and brought Kiss back to the super hero mode fighting crime. They're quite interesting, and the artwork is fabulous.

The Black Sabbath Comic was alone. There was only one of them, and it showed Sabbath as a band, with regular problems, etc. However the Alice Cooper "Last Temptation" comics were a compliment to his "Last Temptation" album released in 1994, which was a concept album. The concept is wonderfully portrayed in the comics. There are 3 in the series, and the artwork was done by Neil Gaiman, who also did the "Sandman" comics.

Thanks Fret for that info. I think comic books about rock bands is going a bit far, but I did like some the stuff done by Kiss. Nice camp BS, nothing too serious, you know what I mean?

There are many more rock comics out there also, including Def Leppard, Ozzy osbourne, and more I always loved those comics, especially the Alice Cooper one, since they portray the story told on his "Last Temptation Album". As to going to far? I suppose so in some cases, such as Black Sabbath, and Def Leppard, however, Kiss and Alice Cooper fit very well in a comic atmosphere, they they portray a certain image of themselves on stage as well.
