    Video Embedding Tutorial

    To insert any google video, please use the following code:

    PHP Code:
    [gv]ID only[/gv] 
    To insert any youtube video, use the following code:
    PHP Code:
     [youtubevid]ID only[/youtubevid]
     
    or 
     
    [    yt]ID only[/yt] 
    For example, if the link for google video is:

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-63754406

    the code would be the following:
    PHP Code:
    [gv]-63754406[/gv] 
    If the link for youtube video is:

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4gULsrAXAI

    the code would be the following:
    PHP Code:

                I've noticed lately that a lot of members would like to post youtube videos but don't know how.....


                Here is an easy step by step tutorial for dummies

                (who don't get the mambo jambo those two up there are going on about like me )


                1) Copy youtube link

                2) Paste link and Click on "Go Advanced"

                3) Preview your Video to make sure it works

                4) Submit reply

                  Ok guys u seem to be having a problem with embedding videos... here's how I do them, its nothing new...

                  The red bit in the following youtube link is the video code:

                  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wuixm5DmE3g&feature=popt1aus06

                  i.e. after the "=" sign and before the "&" sign.

                  Insert this link in the following code:

                  [ youtubevid ] Wuixm5DmE3g [ /youtubevid ]

                  or

                  [ yt ] Wuixm5DmE3g [ /yt ]

                  NO SPACES..... I only added them to show you the code... This is what the embedded video looks like:

                    Ok I've been getting PMs and people are still a bit confused so here's a more detailed tutorial with some pics:


                    1: Do NOT copy the video link from the browser tab... Because this can cause problems for some while embedding... Instead, click on the "SHARE" button at the bottom of the youtube video...




                    This will give you the video link. Anything after the "=" sign is the video code.

                    2: Highlight the video code.





                    3: Copy this video code:





                    4: Insert this video code in the [yt] or [youtubevid] codes as explained in the above post. No spaces.





                    This should easily embed the video for you. Any problems, plz PM me or aaho. Cheers!

                        To insert a video from Daily Motion, plz follow the following steps:

                        • Go the Daily Motion website, open a video, copy the code right after VIDEO in URL, as showin in below image

                          To insert a video from Facebook video, plz follow the following steps:

                          • Go the video on your facebook page, which you would like to insert here, as shown in below image

                          • Click on the video and let is run in pop up box. In the meanwhile the code will appear on URL as shown in below image (If not then right click on the video and try to open link/video in new tab / window)
