Check your "recording setting" from the control panel of your computer.

actually i CAN record but when i click on "send" it stops sending in the middle and just freezes there.

Then it's not your fault, it's server related, open a ticket in support forums (goodluck finding the answer) and let the techs (if there are any alive) take care this matter.
