    Fastest Delivery in WC

    From the matches I've seen the fastest have been:

    1. Brett Lee (98.7 mph!!) - vs Pak (I didn't see the Aus vs India game)
    2. Shoaib -- (96.5)
    3. Shane Bond (94.0)

    Zaheer Khan bowled quickly too--one ball reached 91.6 mph (vs. Holland); he must be India's fastest ever bowler.

    i read of a bowler called amar singh of india who, according to that indian cricket magazine, was very very very fast....
    and also killed an english player with a delivery that hit him in the ribs....
    that was way back in the 1930's....

    but zaheer seems to be the best fast bowler i have seen for india....
    Both Halal & Haram r evident but between them r doubtful things, most ppl have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from suspicious things saves his religion & honor, & whoever indulges in suspicious things indulges in Haram.

      I remember Brett was averaging about 98 mph against india....the ball which got sehwag out was 99.1 mph

                yeh just heard Shoaib bowled at 98.9 mph which is 0.2 mph quicker than Brett's fastest I think so far...

                          The fastest ball in the world cup so far was bowled by Shoaib today timed at 98.9 mph.

                              how come when i saw the match the speed gun dint show that speed....
                              the fastest speed by brett lee was 98.5 as my tv showed....
