Should Inzi go one-down position??

In addition to the openning pair controversy....it seems like the one-down position is very crucial in pak's inning. In my opinion Inzi should go one-down as he is experienced enough to play at any number. But YY and YK seem to be having trouble adjusting themselves incase of an early removal of openers. If these three middle order batsmen do their job properly, even two out of these three, then we don't need Razzaq struggling too much. And its often observed that the tail often fails to give Razzaq a helping hand. The result is that Razzaq cannot deliver the best he could do in some cases.

My order would be....

With Pakistan's fragile batting line-up, I strongly suggest Inzi to come at no earlier than number 4. Pakistan always consolidates in the middle order. Also, Yoyo MUST follow Inzi. These two are good at taking singles in the middle order.

But if the openners are sent back early and YK could not handle the pressure, Inzi will have difficulty staying on wicket with the all rounders and tail. I think Inzi can stablish a good partner ship with YK and later with YY if he plays a slow bus steady inning. Moreover, YK will have little pressure on his shoulder in the presence of the most experienced batsman in the team. Inzi can play the role Miandad played in 92, to keep the whole batting line up together as a backbone.
But Razzaq is a NO NO for one down. He also loose the temprament and starts hitting like Afridi and that results in an unpleasent departure at wrong time.

I would re-iterate my stance on Inzi coming at Number 4. Inzi is a run accumulator just like Miandad was. He needs the field spread out. If he comes at #3 and withing 15 overs, he will find it difficult to keep the scoreboard ticking, will get under unnecessary pressure and may throw away his wicket.

If the openers survive the first 15 overs, then Inzi should come at #3.

By the way, did anyone spot Inzi on the opening day ceremonies in Newlands, Cape Town?. Man o Man, he looked so slim that it reminded me of his first World Cup in 1992. He has lost lots of weight. The guy looks committed! Good job Inzi.

I am pretty sure Inzi will come at number three... when all the senior players had a meeting with their mentor Imran Khan before going to South Africa, Imran suggested to them that the best batsmen in the side should (inzi) should come one down and consolidate the innings, and go after the bowling after he settles down. So I think Inzi will come one down.

Inzi should go at number 3 coz he can get easy runs in first fifteen when restrictions are on... But lets see, YoYo isnt a bad bet either at number 3.

Well its a difficult choice, both Inzi and Youhana need to time to settle in when they are new but Inzi is very vulnerable in his first couple deliveries, after he gets set he does good, so its either Inzi or Youhana.

I think Youhana should come in at no.3 cuz he plays his best at no.3. And Inzi should come in at no.5. Younis Khan and Youhana are very good in taking the singles, where as, Inzamam and Younis Khan or Youahana will have trouble running betweent he wickets. So if the team is in trouble, then YY and YK are the best choices, they play well together.
