McLaren come back strognly

Hakinnen & Coulthard finished 1-2 to give McLaren valuable 16 points to raise their tally to 42, just 7 behind the Ferrari's 49!

Mika gave a flawless performance today, though he & David were helped by two very bad pitstops for Ferrari (Schumacher had a 17 seconds stop at a crucial stage when he was dominating the race) & also the problems in the Schumacher car.

Rubinho still manages to finish 3rd & Michael 5th.
The Williams of Ralph & Button did exceedingly well.

Ralf Schumacher deserved to be on the podium today. He was the driver of the race for me.
Michael was obviously helping Barrichelo out by blocking Ralf on his way to the pits, which was within the regulations but still..it was unfair on Ralf..Hopefully he'll get his first win soon because he certainly deserves it.

Ferrari is in deep trouble, indeed. If it wasn't for the snail-paced Lolly-pop man, Shumacher could have won the race. It took that 14.6 seconds to refuel the car on the second pit-stop.
Ferrari must get it together or it'ld be a long season.
