TORONTO (AP) -- Asia will face a world team in a one-day cricket all-star match at SkyDome on Aug. 8, organizers said Friday.
The Asia XI tentatively includes star Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, Sri Lankans Arjuna Ranatunga and Arvinda de Silva and Pakistan's Wasim Akram.
The World XI includes West India's Brian Lara and Courtney Walsh, South Africa's Hansi Cronje and Jonty Rhodes, and Australian brothers Steve and Mark Waugh.
The game, dubbed the international all-star cricket cup, will be played on the dome's artificial turf.
