NatWest Challenge Sep 01 to Sep 05

Will India be able to rekindle the magic of the 2002 NatWest Finals, Will Sachin not playing have any adverse effect on the Indian Team, or can we look at it as an experiment and see how the team performs without Sachin.

These and many other questions need answers, feel free to post your questions and provide answers if you have any.

    The Schedule is as follows.

Wed 01 Sep England India Trent Bridge
Fri 03 Sep England India Oval
Sun 05 Sep England India Lord's

All the best to Team India.

With England on top of their game and India low on confidence, it would be an uphill task. I would like to see Mr-no-footwork-Sehwag perform on English wickets. Yuvraj and Kaif have a big role to play in Tend's absence.

I say England will win the series 2-1

He has already done it. Where were you last year?
Mr No-foot-work has also made runs in AUS and SA and a triple century in Pakistan.
      Its 5-0-1 in worldcup.
Its good to be world champions again.
And we though Aussies were invincible.

        Fayz Bhai,

Irrespective of what you say about Sehwag, if that bloke can stick around for 15 - 20 overs, you will see the difference.

IMHO he is Viv Richards and Miandad rolled into one.

Go ahead laugh at me, but time will tell.

I just think he is over rated...and he is no where near the league of Viv Richards. You can compare him to Afridi if you will

As long as its Fair and Square, I am ok with that, but if the Indians just throw it away man you gonna hear from me.

Indians hardly throw the game away - last time it was against Australia in India last year - on paper England is just a better opponent than India - had this tournament been played outside England - i would have different opinion

sure India won back in 2002 but that was different team - this team is gel together with young studs performing every inch of their being - only fear i have is the inconsistency of Micheal Vaughan as a skipper.

if only england can raise thier odi game to the level they r @ in the test arena then can we even consider this match eng v ind a CONTEST! i don't think england playing the type of odi cricket they have been playing after the world cup 2003 will win the big one {the icc champions trophy}, they don't have a chance.

on paper they have such a solid odi attacking unit but on the field they for some odd reason can't click, micky vaughny is batting superbly in the tests yet, he can't discover the same form in the odi's, i feel they can't finish off teams in the odi's. mr fletch needs to do some homework with the guys to strengthen england as a solid odi team
