        Aus messages.....

If you bring batting track..we have hayden and Gilli.
If fast bowler's track... we have Gillespie and Lee.
        Spinning Track..We have Brad Hog
        Its 5-0-1 in worldcup.
Its good to be world champions again.
And we though Aussies were invincible.

seriuosly it was painfullly irritating to watch SL spinners bowling 44 out of 50 overs :yukh: and they still sucked big time!!

Awesome Match!! I was on the edge of my sofa in the last 10 overs. Vaas bowled well, but I was surprised to see Murlidharan not bowling as well as he usually does and Beven hit him for a six in the 49th over. But Vaas in the last over bowled exceptionally well Well played Sri Lanka!!

last ball - four runs requried - Bevan's catch was dropped but Australia could make only 3 runs - oh boyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

i m still figuring out when didn't Gilchrist open up with Hayden? Australia were in command with 170 for 2 on board - but three wickets fall quick -it changed the whole climax - and Vaas was the man who rally back Sri lanka right in the game!

anyway - i am just happy to learn Shane Warne is back in the Test squad - COME ON YOU WARNIE!

                      Aussie pair in trouble

Australian cricketers Adam Gilchrist and Andrew Symonds have attended a disciplinary inquiry lasting a whole hour after being charged with dissent.
The two players were summoned to an inquiry in Colombo following an incident in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka.

They were batting together when umpire Peter Manuel ruled Symonds out lbw.

Both players complained and Manuel brought the batsman back after consulting with the second umpire.

Sri Lanka went on to win the match and level the five-match series 1-1.

But afterwards match referee Mike Procter said Gilchrist and Symonds faced code-of-conduct level one charges - showing dissent by protesting against an umpire's verdict.

They could be reprimanded, fined or banned for one match, but as yet there has been no announcement on Procter's verdict.

Sri Lanka, meanwhile, have named an unchanged squad for the third and fourth matches in the best of five series.

The next takes place in Colombo on Wednesday and the hosts are considering leaving out wicket-keeper Romesh Kaluwitharana to accommodate either batsman Saman Jayantha or seamer Nuwan Zoysa.

If Kaluwitharana is left out, Kumar Sangakkara would take over behind the stumps.

Well in last match..Ptere Manual gave Symonds LBW when ball clearly hit the bat first. To which Gilly protested and talk to Umpire and then main umpire talked to leg umpire and after Attapattu's approval, umpire reversed their decision and symond was called back.
Attapatty must be appreciated for this gesture considering at that time match was very close.

                              Thank you f&b.

Gilchrist should NOT have challenged umpire's decision and the idiot Umpire should not have consulted the other umpire for a LBW decision. I think Peter Manuel should be fined as well.
