Post Your Ideas For Wooden Sculpture !!

Art is not simply the ability to manipulate tools effectively, it is more the ability to observe and see the world around you, interpreting the shapes, hue and shades of what you have seen and translating those impressions and ideas into sculptural forms.

I have started working on carving a wooden sculpture..... After I Have blocked out the main masses and planes that define the outer limits of the forms, first I did carving the larger containing forms and planes and then the smaller ones until eventually the surface details are reached. Till this point I have worked and got a perfect picture of my finish product.

Come on you people..... give me suggestions and the best idea of your imagination to finish this sculpture ! your idea shall witness here glory of fine carvings.

When I do any sort of sculpting, I use a clean block and chip away until I find what I had in my mind.
I find it way better than working with something like your raw material.
