'Ista'aara' - Is taaara - this star - refers to a movie star, singer etc

For example, Ista'aara is bery bery good
Why isn't the Dividend story among the featured threads?

Correct. Aasaan zabaan main isse tashbeeh dena kehte hai. Jaise Parveen Shakir ne muhabbat ke wajood ki is tarah se tashbeeeh di:

Gulab hath main ho, aankh main sitara ho
koi wajood muhabbat ka ista'aara ho

It's a class analyzing persian short stories and such...so it's a handy word to know

honestly...maybe instead of a thread a tumblr and twitter might be better for these type of threads...like http://punjabirefill.com/
