It was a difficult book for me to read, especially one certain chapter. Idk how I finished it.

I read it years ago, I don't remember much besides the one scene which traumatized me and kind of stuck with me. Overall, I remember it being a page turner.

Its a very known book so i didnt read synopsis but i did read reviews and they were full of praises.

Yeah,It's a well known book. People seem to love it. I'd read the praises too,but couldn't bring myself to read it. I hope you like it. And I hope you complete it this year

Was it you or somebody else who taught me into Khaled's other book, 'a thousand splendid suns'? It was a good book too, depressing though

This "depressing" factor is the reason I don't read his books. Can't be me who recommended him. But if you liked the other one,you may like this one too. Give it a try and see.
